GameWizards released interactive strategy guides for several popular games between roughly 1996 and 2000. These products were budget priced and published by WizardWorks. They also released traditional book strategy guides. Both of these are often now difficult to find.
The software was ahead of it's time, essentially “Let's Play” walkthroughs distributed on discs. They often included maps, tips, written walkthroughs and other extra content. Most of the releases had a female host. The only exception I have found so far is Duke Nukem 3D which used While all of their other releases have included a women as the main host this one has a male, Danny Spartan.
